This is as far as I can remember attempt #3 at a family website. but this one has lasted longer than all of the others combined. I am using a new CMS Joe helped me with, and I am still learning it. The Program is great and makes it very easy to keep the site updated.

Anyways. I will keep things updated, but no promises. make sure to check in from time to time.

Saturday morning I hatched a hair brained plan to institute the Crazy Coppess Challenge – later renamed by the kids who voted the “Crazy Kids Challenge.” The Crazy Kids Challenge consisted of 10 events some timed, some team, some completive, concluding with Judge Bob’s (Broc’s) obstacle course. We had a total of 6 participants, and had a ton of fun and laughs. The kids competed for medals, and the Grand Prize was some kind of hippo looking trophy. The event spanned from its early conception around 9:00am to getting stuff ready from about noon to 3:00pm to the actual competition starting at 4:00pm and concluding with a delicious hot dog and potato chip dinner around 7:00pm.

We, of course did not take enough pictures or video, but I am posting the individual event results, and my impressions.

I dont know all of the details yet, but as soon as I do I will post them. Betsy called me in tonight and told me I had to see this picture.

Last night at around 5:30 pm Broc and I got into the truck and headed out to a place that we can never go back from. A place that just a couple of months ago was so far away. A place that even now seems surreal, like it never really happened. At about a quarter to six, I said good by to my little boy, walked thorough an empty church, got in my truck and drove home – by myself.
