A girl in Brenna’s class – Katrina – invited Brenna to a birthday party at the ice rink this weekend. Betsy and I wiggled our way into the fray and took Breysie Boy with us to the Rink.

We had a ton of fun. The kids took to ice skating very well. They both were very hesitant at first, but after a couple falls they realized it didn’t hurt that bad.

I know there is a ton of falling in the videos, but they really did not fall as much as it seems. The great thing is they kept a wonderful attitude thought the whole deal.

I was extremly proud of both the kids. The started aprehensive – but continuied trying. They tried, they failed, they tried some more, and they got better. It seems pretty simple, but I think the fear of failure it what holds so many kids back from having tons of fun. Brenna, and Breyson probably fell more than anyone else on the ice, but I’m pretty sure they had more fun than anyone else on the ice.
